ACCEPTING A REPLACEMENT PUBLIC SIDEWALK EASEMENT AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD THE RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION NO. 12129
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
VACATING THE PUBLIC SIDEWALK EASEMENT SHOWN ON THE PARCEL MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 733 OF MAPS AT PAGES 32 AND 33 AFFECTING PARCEL 3
AND PARCEL 4, ACCEPTING A PUBLIC SIDEWALK EASEMENT AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD THE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, an easement for public sidewalk purposes was accepted on September 5,
2000 by the City Council of the City of Campbell as adopted in Resolution No. 9728; and
WHEREAS, said easement for public sidewalk purposes was recorded on October 30,
2000 in Book 733 of Maps at Page 32 and 33 of Official Records, Santa Clara County;
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Campbell to abandon this existing public
sidewalk easement and replace it with a new public sidewalk easement in order to widen
the sidewalk; and
WHEREAS, the public sidewalk easement vacation is to be made pursuant to Chapter 4,
Summary Vacation, of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California Street and Highway Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby vacate the public sidewalk easement shown on the Parcel Map recorded in
Book 733 of Maps at pages 32 and 33 affecting Parcel 3 and parcel 4, and accepts a
replacement public sidewalk easement as shown in Exhibit 1, and directs the City Clerk
to record this resolution.
