BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF A LIVE ENTERTAIMENT PERMIT TO AFN SERVICES
LLC DBA THE SOCIALIGHT ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 368 E. CAMPBELL
AVENUE.
WHEREAS, after notification and public hearing as specified by law and after
presentation by the Police Department, proponents and opponents, the hearing was
closed. After due consideration of all the evidence presented, the City Council does find
as follows:
1. Insufficient information was provided to properly define the location of the
musicians;
2. American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compatibility has not been defiried;
3. The emergency exiting requirements does not appear to be met;
4. The handicap access requirement does not appear to be met;
5. The seating capacity at the bar exceeds previous approvals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby deny a Live Entertainment Permit to Steven Bonner on behalf of AFN
Services LLC dba as The Socialight.
