A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT PATROL VEHICLE AND
APPROVAL OF A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, police unit #1355 was heavily damaged during a police action and was
recommended that it not be repaired; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City of Campbell's Purchasing Policy, if the
equipment's estimated fair market value is greater than twenty-five thousand dollars
Council authorization is required; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is requesting the City Council to authorize
the purchase of one (1) new marked police utility vehicle and approve a budget
adjustment for a replacement unit.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby authorize the purchase of one (1) replacement of a marked police vehicle
and approves a budget adjustment in the amount of $40,700.
