A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING THE HACIENDA AVENUE GREEN STREET IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT 08-04B, AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION, AND APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted on June 2, 2014 its Resolution No. 11687 authorizing
the Public Works Director to award and execute a contract to Ghilotti Construction
Company, Inc. for the City Project 08-04B -Hacienda Avenue Green Street Improvements;
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director executed a contract with Ghilotti Construction
Company, Inc. for the aforementioned Project 08-04B on July 22, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. has completed the required improvements
in accordance with the contract documents; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer requests the City Council to accept the Hacienda Avenue
Green Street Improvements constructed by Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. for the
City's maintenance and approve and authorize filing of the Notice of Completion for this
project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer also requests the City Council to authorize staff to file in the
County's public records a Notice of Completion and Notices of Improvement Obligations for
the property owners where their obligated improvements were installed through this project;
and
WHEREAS, a budget adjustment has been prepared to bring into Project 08-04B
reimbursement from the redevelopment project located at 705 Hacienda Avenue and reflect
the actual utility related revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby accepts the improvements constructed by Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. for
Project 08-046, Hacienda Avenue Green Street Improvements, authorizes staff to file in the
County's public records a Notice of Completion and approves a budget adjustment.
