CC Resolution 12142RESOLUTION NO. 12142 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR PRUNEYARD SIGNAL EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT 17-ZZ WHEREAS, on November 1, 2016, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2212 approving a zoning map amendment (PLN 2015-357) to amend the Campbell Zoning Map designation from the C-2 (General Commercial) Zoning District to the C-2-O (General Commercial/Overlay) Combining Zoning District of property known as 1875, 1887, and 1995 South Bascom Avenue (henceforth called the Pruneyard Expansion I Project); and WHEREAS, at that time the conditions of approval required the applicant for the Pruneyard Expansion Project to post a deposit of $40,000 for the purchase and installation of miscellaneous traffic signal equipment improvements including video detection equipment at the Bascom Avenue/Campbell Avenue intersection and emergency vehicle preemption equipment at the intersections of Bascom AvenuelCampbell Avenue and Bascom Avenue/Pruneyard Entrance; and WHEREAS, on February 8, 2017, the applicant for the Pruneyard Expansion Project paid a $40,000 deposit to the City under Encroachment Permit # 2016-00226; and WHEREAS, a budget adjustment in the amount of $40,000 is required to acknowledge developer's fees available to install the signal equipment improvements associated with traffic generated by the Pruneyard Expansion Project; and ~ WHEREAS, the video detection equipment will help keep the Bascom/Campbell traffic signal fully operational and able tc serve for the anticipated additional Pruneyard project ', traffic regardless of pavement condition; and WHEREAS, the traffic signal preemption upgrades at Bascom/Campbell and ~~ Bascom/Pruneyard will bring these two traffic signals in conformance with County Fire's ~ truck equipment; and ~I WHEREAS, the Pruneyard Signal Equipment Improvements Project will be given the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project number of 17-ZZ; and. WHEREAS, the attached budget adjustment has been prepared for Council's ii consideration to provide $40,000 in- developer's fees for the Pruneyard Signal Equipment Improvements Project 17-ZZ. II NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell approves the budget adjustment allocating $40,000 in developer's funds to the Pruneyard Signal Equipment Improvements Project 17-ZZ and related transfers.
