A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE RETENTION OF REGIONAL GOVERNMENT SERVICES
AUTHORITY (RGS)
WHEREAS, the City is in need of temporary staffing services due to the
vacancy created by the departure of the Finance Manager; and,
WHEREAS, the City's purchasing policy requires the approval by the City
Council for retention of consultants in excess of $15,000; and,
WHEREAS, City will expend in excess of the $15,000 threshold; and,
WHEREAS, RGS is a government joint powers authority specializing in
providing temporary staffing services for local government agencies at reasonable
rates.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the retention of RGS is hereby approved until such time as a
permanent appointment can be made for the position of Finance Manager.
