~~ reviewed the tentative site development plan, sent with your letter of
~~for California fl6" Motel on Camden Avenue I Tile "S" 73-40.
The easterly propeny line of this she coincides with the center line of a D,strict
IS-foot easement containing the Kirk Ditch water distribution facility.
If the open channel is to remain as proposed on [he planl we will require dedica-
tion of a IS-foot-wide strip for maintenance access along the westerly boundary
of our existing easement. The proposed building location encroaches upon this
area and is thus incompatible. We would not need the access eaSeffienL if the
channel is placed in pipe. We will furnish design and cost estimate for such
pipe if the following Held information is furnished:
1. A profile along the existing liD II frame and earth channel from the existing
pipe outlet to 50 feet beyond the northerly property line. The profile should show
invert and ground surface.
2. Also I any future plan submitted should show our right of way I the flU"
frame channell and the stream gage appurtenances located accordingly to scale
and dimensioned to property corners.
The driveway to the Texaco Station does not exist; if its installation is to be part
of this projectl construction details are described in the enclosed copy of our
March 21/ 1972 letter.

21.42.090 of the Campbell Municipal Code reads as follows:
Any approval granted under this section shall expire one year after
the date upon which such approval was granted, unless an extension
for such approval is obtained by making written application for same
to the Planning Commission at least fifteen (15) days prior to the
expiration date of such approval.
No building permit shall be issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained in the manner provided
for in this Chapter.
