BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL ADOPTING PLANS, ELEVATIONS, AND DEVELOPMENT
SCHEDULE FOR A PORTION OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ZONE
ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE NO. 945, ADOPTED ON THE
28TH DAY OF MAY, 1974. (Application of _Dr~ John F. Font,

The City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the Zoning ~1ap of- the City of Campbell is hereby
changed and amended bv adopting the attached "Exhibit A" entitled "Plans
and Elevations", IIExhibit BIl entitled IIDevelopment Schedulell and "Exhibit eil
entitled "Map of said Property", as per appl ication of Or. John F. Font
to allow construction of an accessory building on property known as 106 East
Campbell Avenue in a P-D (Planned Development/Commercial) Zoning District.
Copies of said exhibits are on file in the office of the Planning Department.
Said approval granted subject to the following conditions:
A. Project to be completed within six months of City Council approval.
B. Exterior walls less than 40 feet from property lines shall be
one hour rated. Section 22.03. Roof shall be fire retardant.
Section 3203 F, including overhang, Section 1710, Exception #2.
The applicant is notified that he shall comply with all applicable Codes
or Ordinances of the City of Campbell which pertain to this development and
are ~ot herein specified.

The primary use of this property is as a speech and 'learning clinic, and
ha s been so since August of 1972.
Tfhe enclosed application is for the a jdition of a small 510 foot hexagoanl
building to be positioned as shown or the attached plans. This attractive
small building will be used primnrily :or staff functions, i. e. lounge,
lunch, staff meetings, professionalldbrary. The building will not be
used as an additional offi~e, nor will there be any nee~ to increase
parking.

J and my staff consider it hnportant in our daily activities to have a
place available for relaxing and meeting both formally and informally, and
we would like to get away from the office setting.

The building will be set within 6-8 ft . of the property line. However I no
openings will exist within 10 feet of Either property line. It is expected ' ;1.,
that the project will be con'oleted \,'Jit 1in 3 months of planning commission
approval.
