RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO EXECUTE UPDATED NON-
EXCLUSIVE TOWING SERVICES AGREEMENTS
WHEREAS, the California Vehicle Code authorizes the Campbell Police
Department to tow vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell and its Police Department do not have
the equipment, facilities, or personnel necessary to tow and store vehicles; ahd,
WHEREAS, the City maintains a voluntary "rotation list" for towing
services; and,
WHEREAS, the Campbell Police Department currently has an existing
towing services agreement that was last revised in April 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the non-exclusive towing services agreement has been
updated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that Chief of Police is authorized to execute the updated non-exclusive
towing services agreements.
