A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND CALL FOR BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF ONE NEW FORD F-250 WITH SERVICE BODY AND TOMMY LIFT
WHEREAS, staff is requesting the procurement of a new Ford F-250 with service body
and Tommy Lift; and
WHEREAS, the Ford F-250 with service body and Tommy Lift has been identified as
suitable equipment for the purposes outlined in the preceding report; and
WHEREAS, unit 2066 replacement is funded in the FY 2017/18, Vehicle and Equipment
Maintenance Budget and will not exceed a total of $65,000; and
WHEREAS, the estimated fair market value for this new piece of equipment is greater
than $25,000; therefore, Council approval is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
approves the specifications and call for bids for a new Ford F-250 with service body and
Tommy Lift and authorizes the Public Works Director to award the contract for
procurement of this equipment.
