A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS AND CALL FOR BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF ONE NEW CHEVROLET COLORADO 2WD CREW CAB,
SHORT BOX WT
WHEREAS, staff is requesting the procurement of a new Chevrolet Colorado 2WD
Crew Cab, Short Box WT; and
WHEREAS, the Chevrolet Colorado 2WD Crew Cab, Short Box WT has been identified
as suitable equipment for the purposes outlined in the preceding report; and
WHEREAS, unit 2081 replacement is funded in the FY 2017/18, Vehicle and Equipment
Maintenance Budget and will not exceed a total of $45,000; and
WHEREAS, the estimated fair market value for this new piece of equipment is greater
than $25,000; therefore, Council approval is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
approves the specifications and call for bids for a new Chevrolet Colorado 2WD Crew
Cab, Short Box WT and authorizes the Public Works Director to award the contract for
procurement of this equipment.
