RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO ACCEPT A "PACKBOT" ROBOT
THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE 1033 PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Campbell Police Department does not have any equipment that has
the capabilities of an iRobot 510 "PackBot" robot; and,
WHEREAS, an iRobot 510 "PackBot" robot is available through the 1033 Program
at no cost to the City of Campbell; and,
WHEREAS, the Police Department and the citizens of Campbell would benefit from
such equipment during critical incidents,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the Police Department is authorized to accept an iRobot 510 "PackBot" robot through
the Department of Defense 1033 Program.
