BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL MODIFYING THE SCHEDULE OF
FEES AND CHARGES TO AUTHORIZE A WAIVER OF
FEES FOR EXCEPTIONS TO REAR SETBACKS
SUBMITTED FOR PROPERTIES IN THE CAMPBELL
VILLAGE NEIGHBORHOOD UNTIL THE EFFECTIVE DATE
OF THE CITY'S FY18/19 SCHEDULE OF FEES AND
CHARGES.
WHEREAS, on April 18, 2017, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 12151 adopting
the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Schedule of Fees and Charges;
WHEREAS, on August 7, 2017, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 12214
adopting the Campbell Village Neighborhood Plan (CVNP);
WHEREAS, the Campbell Village Neighborhood Plan provides for a requirement to
apply for an administrative site and architectural review permit for exceptions to rear
setbacks; ,-
WHEREAS, the adopted fees applicable to the submittal of ari administrative site and
architectural review permit total $1,416.00, comprised of a $1,103.00 administrative site
and architectural review permit, a $220.00 environmental categorical exemption, and a
$93.00 fire department review fee for residential projects; and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to return with a resolution waiving fees for
exceptions to rear setbacks in the CVNP for a period of time in order to provide relief to
homeowners and monitor the impact the revised development standards would have on
the neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council adopts a Resolution
modifying the Schedule of Fees and Charges, as set forth in Exhibit A, to authorize a
waiver the fees applicable for exceptions to rear setbacks submitted for properties in the
Campbell Village Neighborhood until the effective date of the City's.FY18/19 Schedule
of Fees and Charges.
