A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW TRACTOR USING A NJPA AWARDED
CONTRACT AND ONE NEW AERATOR AND ONE NEW COMPACT LOADER WITH
ATTACHMENTS USING A NIPA AWARDED CONTRACT
WHEREAS, procurement of one (1) new Tractor is funded in the FY 2017/18, Vehicle and
Equipment Maintenance Budget; and
WHEREAS, procurement of one (1) new Aerator is funded in the FY 2017/18, Vehicle
and Equipment Maintenance Budget; and
WHEREAS, procurement of one (1) new Compact Loader with Attachments is funded in
the FY 2017/18, Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City of Campbell's Purchasing Policy if the
equipment's estimated fair market value is greater than $25,000 Council approval is
required; and
WHEREAS, a Tractor, Aerator and Compact Loader with attachments have been
identified as suitable equipment for the purposes outlined in the preceding report; and
WHEREAS, staff is requesting the purchase of one (1) new Tractor not to exceed
$55,000; one (1) new Aerator not to exceed $30,000; and one (1) new Compact Loader
with attachments not to exceed $38,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
approves the purchase of one (1) new Tractor using the NJPA awarded contract, and
one (1) new Aerator and one (1) new Compact Loader with attachments using the NIPA
awarded contract in amounts not to exceed $55,000, $30,000 and $38,000 respectively.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the Public Works
Director to execute purchase agreements for procurement of this equipment.
