AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSULTANT
SERVICES FOR WINCHESTER BOULEVARD RESURFACING PROJECT 18-XX,
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE
CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENTS, AND APPROVING
A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 12219 amended the FY17/18 CIP budget to bifurcate Annual
Street Maintenance into two projects: Audrey Avenue and Hack Avenue Rehabilitation
Project 18-BB and Winchester Boulevard Resurfacing Project 18-XX; and
WHEREAS, the resurfacing of Winchester Boulevard is being planned for the entire length
of the street and will require multi-year project delivery; and
WHEREAS, staff is recommending the authorization to issue two RFPs, one for all work
associated with pavement design, and one for traffic signal & electrical design; and
WHEREAS, a budget adjustment has been created to facilitate the work associated with
the consultant services for the Winchester Boulevard Resurfacing Project 18-XX.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to issue the RFPs, and negotiate and execute
consultant services agreements in the amounts not to exceed $70,000, and $100,000 for
pavement design services and traffic signal & electrical services, respectively, and
approves a budget adjustment.
