~' BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CSG
CONSULTANTS FOR CONTRACT CODE ENFORCEMENT
OFFICER SERVICES TO SERVE ON A TEMPORARY FULL AND
PART-TIME BASIS FOR A-PERIOD OF UP TO ONE YEAR WITH
THE POTENTIAL FOR AN EXTENSION AT THE DISCRETION OF
THE CITY MANAGER.
WHEREAS, the City desires to obtain temporary consulting services to provide
supplemental staffing for a full and part-time Code Enforcement Officer for the purpose
of performing routine division assignments; and
WHEREAS, CSG Consultants has qualified consultants with the expertise, means and
ability to provide code enforcement staffing; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 10.7 of the City Council's Administrative Policies, the
City Council reserves the ability to authorize the hiring of consultants whose charges will
! . exceed $50,000; and
WHEREAS, the Department will be able to cover the costs for Code Enforcement
, services through salary savings; and .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Community Development Director to execute an agreement
between the City of Campbell and CSG Consultants for Code Enforcement services for
a period of one year and authorizing the City Manager to ,extend the contract for an
additional six months at his discretion.
