A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING A
BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO COVER THE ANTICIPATED COSTS OF PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES (101-554-7430) FOR STRUCTURAL AND TITLE 24 PLAN REVIEWS FOR THE
REMAINDER OF THE 2017-2018 BUDGET YEAR
WHEREAS, in the preparation of the 2017-2018 Budget, the Building Division requested
$160,000 for consultant services to provide Structural and Title 24 Energy Review for Permit
applications; and
WHEREAS, at Mid-Year, the Building Division did not anticipate a continued, robust residential
construction environment;
WHEREAS, by July 2018, the Building Division anticipates that more than $470,000 will be
collected based on current projections; and
WHEREAS, the Building Division requires a sufficient amount of money for these professional
services to complete the Budget Year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
authorizes the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $60,000 for required contract plan
check services as set forth in Exhibit A.
