A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICAITONS FOR
MATERIALS TESTING SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE SELECTED MATERIALS
TESTING CONSULTANT
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is in need of material testing services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell does not have the capability in-house to perform
materials testing services; and
WHEREAS, the RFQ will enable Public Works staff to select the most qualified
materials testing consultant to provide professional and high quality testing services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Department to issue an RFQ for Materials Testing
Services and also authorizes the Public Works Director to execute the agreement with
the selected consultant for a cumulative amount not to exceed $250,000 over a three
year term with the option to extend the contract an additional 2 years.
