A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO LINE ITEM 7430 OF THE LEGAL
SERVICES BUDGET
WHEREAS, line item 7430 of the Legal Services budget was set at an
amount below that necessary to accommodate the historically budgeted levels of
service;
WHEREAS, litigation and other demands on the City Attorney's Office
have exceeded the levels budgeted under line item 7430, causing it to be
depleted prior to the middle of the current fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that an additional $250,000 in line item 7430
will'be necessary to allow the City Attorney's Office to preform all of the services
being demanded of it through the end of the fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that line item 101.560.7430 of the budget for Fiscal Year 18/19 is
hereby adjusted by increasing that line item by $250,000 to a total of $352,691.
