A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING A
BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO COVER THE ANTICIPATED COSTS OF PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES (101-603-7430) FOR CONFIGURATION AND TRAINING FOR INFORM RMS
PROPERTY AND EVIDENCE MODULE.

WHEREAS, In April 2018 the Police Department transitioned to its new Tritech Records
Management System (RMS); and
WHEREAS, the Police Department is in the final stage ofimplementation of the property and
evidence portion of the system and has 40,000 evidence items to convert to the Tritech
Evidence Module; and
WHEREAS, Tritech offers an implementation system that includes data conversion, training,
project management and technical expertise; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has significant salary savings, equivalent to (1) FTE, in the
Records Division Personnel Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
authorizes the attached budget adjustment in the amount of .$26,700 for the property and
evidence module implementation as set forth in Exhibit A.
