A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A THREE YEAR AGREEMENT WITH CDW-G, AND OTHER
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE 248 ANNUAL
SUBSCRIPTIONS OF MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $94,213.44;
WHEREAS, the City, through obsolesces, is nearing the end of life for its current
version of desktop productivity tools;
WHEREAS, staff has -determined that the City would greatly benefit from the new
and improved desktop tools by increasing productivity and reducing maintenance costs;
WHEREAS, staff has determined utilize an existing contract developed by the
County of Riverside, California would provide the best value and benefit to the City and
section 3.20.070 of the Campbell municipal code allows the City to make
purchases through other municipalities provided these agencies used bidding
procedure that are reasonably consistent with Section 3.20.050 of the municipal -
code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell determines that it is in the best interests of the public to authorize the City
Manager to sign a three year agreement with CDW-G to purchase 248 subscriptions of
Microsoft Office 365 for a total to $94,213.44 over the three year term.
