A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
- CONSULTANT SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH JOHN D. MORGAN PARK (BUDD
AVENUE) IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 18-PP AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the adopted 2019-2023 Five -Year Capital Improvement Plan includes funding
for the John D. Morgan Park (Budd Avenue) Improvement Project 18-PP; and
WHEREAS, staff is seeking Council's authorization to solicit consultant services for
preliminary and final designs, and construction administration and inspection services
associated with John D. Morgan Park (Budd Avenue) Improvement Project 18-PP; and
WHEREAS, the budget details as included in the,adopted 2019-2023 Five -Year CIP will be
updated as part of the FY2019/20 budget process to recognize the award of the $1 M from
the County grant for a total project of $2M and a budget increase of $100,000 from the
Park Dedication Fund for City project management costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves the issuance of a request for proposals for consultant services for the
John D. Morgan Park (Budd Avenue) Improvement Project 18-PP and authorizes the
Public Works Director to execute a Consultant Services Agreement in two phases: Phase 1
for design and Phase 2 for construction management in a total amount not to exceed
$430, 000.
