A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF THE
UPDATED EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN (EOP) AND ANNEX A
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell's Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) was last
updated in 2014; and
WHEREAS, this latest EOP revision is all hazards document describing the
City's incident management organization; and
WHEREAS, this EOP complies with relevant legal statutes, other relevant
guidelines, whole community engagement, continuity of government focus, and
critical components of the incident management structure; and
WHEREAS; this EOP facilitates multi -agency and multi -jurisdictional coordination
during emergency operations, public information functions, and resource
management; and
WHEREAS, Annex A to the revised EOP defines the roles and responsibilities of
City Council members during a disaster should the Emergency Operations
Center (EOC) be activated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell takes the following, action:
1.) Adopts in its entirety, the revised 2019 Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)
2.) Adopts Annex A of the revised 2019 Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)
