RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF COUNCIL POLICY MANUAL SECTION 20
— COUNCIL FINANCIAL POLICIES, SUBSECTION IV. —'BUDGET POLICIES

WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to prepare a policy to publish a notice for the
introduction and adoption of the annual budget; and
WHEREAS, staff determined that an amendment to the Council Financial Polices
(Section 20 Subsection IV.- Budget Policies) would be the appropriate section for this
requirement; and
WHEREAS, the amendment states that the City Clerk shall prepare and publish one
time, a public hearing notice 10 days prior to the introduction of the annual budget in the
Campbell Express and includes language to list the introduction and final adoption
dates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council Policy Manual Section
20 — Council Financial Policies, Subsection IV. — Budget Polices be amended as shown
in Attachment A which is incorporated in this resolution by reference.
