A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) TO SOLICIT POTENTIAL
VENDORS OF PARKS & RECREATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND TO AUTHORIZE THE
CITY MANAGER TO AWARD A CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, the City may have the opportunity to reduce it overall costs related
to the operation of Parks & Recreation management systems;
WHEREAS, cost reductions include processing fees associated with credit card
and electronic checks;
WHEREAS, staff has determined that a Request for Proposals (RFP) process is
the most effective process to use when selecting potential service providers that would
provide the best value and benefit to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell determines that it is in the best interests of the public to authorize the City
Manager to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit potential vendors of Parks &
Recreation management systems and to authorize the City Manager to award a
contract.
