RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL MODIFYING THE SCHEDULE OF
FEES AND CHARGES TO UPDATE THE PARK IN-LIEU FEES
WHEREAS, the City desires to promote and maintain a vibrant and healthy system of
City parks, by ensuring that new development contributes either new parkland or in-lieu
fees proportional to the demand created by said new development; and
WHEREAS, the City desires the parkland dedication and in-lieu fee payment
requirements be based on a land valuation representing market rates; and
WHEREAS, all of the required legal notices have been published pursuant to
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the update of a funding mechanism is not a project as defined by the
California Environmental Quality Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby adopts the attached
schedule of Park In-Lieu Fees to be paid to the City of Campbell effective January 20,
2020; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the attached schedule of Park In-Lieu
Fees be adopted and that this Resolution and the fee schedule be made an addendum
to the City Council Policy Manual.
