A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING OFFICER DAVID WETZEL
ON HIS 18 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Officer Wetzel became a Police Officer in January 2002; and
WHEREAS, Officer Wetzel is currently assigned to Patrol; and
WHEREAS, Officer Wetzel has served as a Motor Traffic Officer for 14 years; and
WHEREAS, Officer Wetzel has served in many specialty assignments including Field Training
Officer, Major Accident Investigation Team member, Crime Scene Investigation Team member, and
as a department armorer; and
WHEREAS, Officer Wetzel has honorably served as a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics
(SWAT) Team for 10 years; and
WHEREAS, Officer Wetzel has always had a commitment to providing excellent service to the
Campbell community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell recognizes
and commends Officer David Wetzel on his retirement from the City of Campbell after 18 years of
service.
