BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2020
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell duly called and held in said City, a
General Municipal Election on the 3rd day of November, 2020 for the purpose of
submitting to the qualified electors thereof the election of one City Councilmember for
District 1, and one City Councilmember in District 2; and
WHEREAS, said General Municipal Election was held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020,
and in accordance with the law, the votes were received and canvassed. Said returns
were thereof ascertained and declared as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell as
follows:
1. That the Deputy City Clerk of the City of Campbell is hereby instructed to enter
this resolution on the minutes of the City Council as a statement of the result of said
election.
2. That the whole number of ballots cast in District 1 of said City at said General
Municipal Election was 3,964.
3. That the whole number of ballots cast in District 2 of said City at said General
Municipal Election was 4,945.
4. That at said election the following candidates for District 1 and District 2 were
submitted to the electors of said City and that the number of votes given in said City for
each of said candidates were as follows:

5. That by said Resolution calling said General Municipal Election for said City of
Campbell was divided into three (3) voting precincts for District 1 and three (3) voting
precincts for District 2 for the purpose of said election, and that the number of votes cast
in each of said precincts for each district was as attached hereto and made a part
hereof and marked "Exhibit A."
5. That all vote by mail ballots have been duly received and canvassed in time for
and in the manner required by law, and the result is outlined in "Exhibit A."
6. That the following candidates elected are:
DISTRICT 1 CITY COUNCIL (1 Seat)
Susan M. Landry
DISTRICT 2 CITY COUNCIL (1 Seat)
Sergio Lopez
7. That the terms of office shall be for a four (4) year term, expiring November 5,
2024.
