A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL COMMENDING ANGELA LOCKE-PADDON
ON HER 33 YEAR PUBLIC SAFETY CAREER WITH OVER 12 YEARS OF
SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Angela Locke-Paddon began her career in public safety as a Reserve Police Officer in
the City of Gilroy in February of 1988; and
WHEREAS, Angela Locke-Paddon was hired as a Records Technician for the Gilroy Police
Department in March of 1988; and
WHEREAS, Angela Locke-Paddon was hired as Gilroy Police Department's first Multi-Service
Officer (MSO) in 1990 where she oversaw jail operations and property and evidence; and
WHEREAS, Angela Locke-Paddon was hired as a Community Service Officer (CSO) for the Gilroy
Police Department and was in charge of graffiti abatement and was a crime scene investigator; and
WHEREAS, Angela Locke-Paddon was hired as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police for
the Campbell Police Department in April 2009; and
WHEREAS, Angela Locke-Paddon was responsible for administrative support duties that required
substantial initiative, judgement, and discretion; and
WHEREAS, Angela Locke-Paddon has been an invaluable member of the Police Department team
and has continuously provided excellent service to the Campbell community and support to her
coworkers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell recognizes
and commends Angela Locke-Paddon for over 33 years of public service and 12 years of loyal and
valuable service to the City of Campbell.
