A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ESTABLISHING THE APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022
PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE CALIFORNIA ST ATE CONSTITUTION
WHEREAS, Proposition 4 was adopted by the voters of the State of California on
November 6, 1979, adding Article XIII B of the California State Constitution.; and
WHEREAS, Proposition 111 was adopted by the voters of the State of California on
June 5, 1990, amending Article XIII B of the California State Constitution; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8 of Article XIII B of the California State Constitution,
the City Council determines that the change in the cost of living shall be measured by
the percentage change in Per Capita Personal Income as provided by the State of
California Department of Finance from the preceding year and the change in population
shall be measured by the change in the County of Santa Clara's population growth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell wishes to establish this
appropriations limit for the Fiscal Year 2022 pursuant to Article XIII B of the California
State Constitution;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby finds and determines that the appropriations limit for Fiscal Year 2022 is
$81,053,795.
