A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING COMMUNICATIONS SUPERVISOR PAULA GALLAGHER ON HER
OVER 33 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Communications Supervisor Gallagher volunteered as a Police Explorer
from May of 1984 to March of 1987; and
WHEREAS, Communications Supervisor Gallagher became a temporary employee
assigned to Communications in October of 1987; and
WHEREAS, Communications Supervisor Gallagher was permanently assigned as a
Communications Dispatcher in March of 1988; and
WHEREAS, Communications Supervisor Gallagher was promoted to Supervisor in
January of 2001; and
WHEREAS, Communications Supervisor Gallagher was heavily involved in the Special
Olympics program and served as an advisor for the Police Explorer Post; and
WHEREAS, Communications Supervisor Gallagher was a dedicated professional in her
field and passionate about training and keeping her staff up to date in their knowledge
and skillset; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
recognizes and commends Communications Supervisor Paula Gallagher on her
retirement from the City of Campbell after over 33 years of service.
