A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE 3RDAMENDED RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR EDITH
MORLEY PARK COMMUNITY GARDEN
WHEREAS, the Edith Morley Community Garden was approved by the City Council as
part of the development of Edith Morley Park in 2001; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works staff periodically reviews the Community Garden Rules
and Regulations in an effort to operate the garden as effectively as possible; and
WHEREAS, the State and local water supply are limited and certain water conservation
measures are appropriate to be implemented; and
WHEREAS, the annual fees for the Community Garden have been increased in the
City's fee schedule to reflect recent increases in water costs; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed and approved the
proposed changes to the Community Garden's Rules and Regulations at their June 2,
2021 meeting; and
WHEREAS, the proposed changes will reduce the administrative time necessary for
managing garden renewals.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
approves the amended rules and regulations for the Edith Morley Park Community
Garden.
