A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL VACATING
THE PUBLIC EASEMENT DESIGNATED AND DELINEATED AS A 5-FOOT
WALKWAY EASEMENT WITHIN LOT 6 OF TRACT MAP NO. 7229, AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD THE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a public easement designated and delineated as 5-foot Walkway
Easement on Tract Map No. 7229 was recorded on December 21, 1981, in Book 494
Pages 12 and 13 of Official Records, Santa Clara County; and
WHEREAS, said easement has not been improved or utilized within Lot 6 of said
subdivision, and it is the desire of the City of Campbell to remove this encumbrance
from the subject property, commonly known as 1409 Harriet Avenue, Campbell,
California 95008; and
WHEREAS, the easement vacation is to be made pursuant to Chapter 4,
Summary Vacation, of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California Street and Highway Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby vacate the public easement designated and delineated as a 5-foot
Walkway Easement within Lot 6 of Tract No. 7229 recorded in Book 494 Page 12
and 13 of Official Records, Santa Clara County, and directs the City Clerk to record
the resolution.
