A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL COMMENDING
OFFICER DARWIN OKAMOTO ON HIS 25 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Officer Okamoto first became a Police Officer in January of 1997 and prior to
his retirement assigned to the Patrol Division; and
WHEREAS, Officer Okamoto has served as a general crimes detective and many specialty
assignments including Field Training Officer, Range Master, Armorer, Defensive Tactics
Instructor, Taser Instructor and as a Sniper attached to the SWAT team; and
WHEREAS, Officer Okamoto has honorably served as a member of the Special
Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team for 19 years; and
WHEREAS, Officer Okamoto has always had a commitment to providing excellent
service to the Campbell community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell recognizes
and commends Officer Darwin Okamoto upon his retirement from the City of Campbell after 25
years of service.
