A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING CORINNE SHINN UPON HER RETIREMENT AFTER 28 YEARS OF
SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Corinne Shinn began her career with the City of Campbell on July
26, 1993 as an Executive Assistant in the Community Development Department; and
WHEREAS, Corinne has provided ongoing administrative support to the
Community Development Department and has faithfully supported seven Community
Development Directors during her tenure; and
WHEREAS, Corinne has assisted the work of 22 individual planners during her
tenure; and
WHEREAS, Corinne has consistently supported the City's Planning Commission,
Historic Preservation Board, and other City Commissions and Committees with ongoing
clerking support, including preparing agendas, reports and meeting minutes; and
WHEREAS, Corinne's exemplary service in support of the Planning Commission
and its members, including the preparation of detailed and comprehensive meeting
minutes and attending over 650 meetings has been recognized during her career with
the City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, Corinne was instrumental in facilitating the transition to a paperless
Planning Division through continuous digitizing of old paper documents, oversight of
microfiche scanning projects, and the implementation of fully electronic administrative
functions; and
WHEREAS, Corinne has continuously provided a positive first impression to the
customers of Community Development and excellent customer service to the Campbell
community and City staff; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby express its appreciation to Corinne Shinn for 28 years of dedicated,
professional, and valuable service and their best wishes for a fulfilling retirement.
