CC Resolution 12798 - Accept Improvements for FY20/21 Project 21-BBRESOLUTION NO. 12798
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 20121 ANNUAL STREET
MAINTENANCE - COLLECTOR AND RESIDENTIAL STREET RESURFACING,
PROJECT 21-BB (PROJECT), AND FILE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, On March 16, 2021, City Council adopted Resolution No. 12683
authorizing the advertisement of bids, awarding the contract, and signing of a
construction contract for the Project; and
WHEREAS, On May 4, 2021, a construction contract in the amount of $2,318,817 was
awarded to O'Grady Paving, Inc., of Mountain View, California; and
WHEREAS, O'Grady Paving Inc., completed the installation of various improvements in
accordance with the project plans and specifications for the Project; and
WHEREAS, approximately $464,714 of pavement maintenance funds remains unspent
in the project budget; and
WHEREAS, a budget adjustment has been prepared to transfer the remaining project
budget to the Fiscal Year 21/22 Annual Street Maintenance — Collector and Residential
Street Resurfacing, Project 22-1313.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby accepts the improvements constructed by O'Grady Paving, Inc., for the Fiscal
Year 20/21 Annual Street Maintenance — Collector and Residential Street Resurfacing,
Project 21-BB, directs the City Engineer to file the Notice of Completion, and authorizes
the Finance Director to perform a budget adjustment.
