A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A 5-YEAR LEASE AGREEMENT
ON BEHALF OF THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY SPECIALIZED ENFORCMENT TEAM
(SCCSET) TO LEASE OFFICE SPACE
WHEREAS, SCCSET has been a valuable law enforcement partner to the Campbell
Police Department for over 35 years; and
WHEREAS, the previous 10-year lease agreement executed on behalf of SCCSET by
the Interim City Manager of the City of Campbell has expired; and
WHEREAS, the current office space continues to meet the needs of the task force; and
WHEREAS, the SCCSET Commander has negotiated an acceptable lease agreement
with the owner: and
WHEREAS, SCCSET must rely on the City of Campbell to sign the lease agreement on
their behalf.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that
the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a 5-year lease agreement on behalf of
SCCSET for office space.
