RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND THE ON -CALL CONSULTANT
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH RMA GROUP FOR MATERIALS TESTING
SERVICES BY INCREASING THE EXISTING COMPENSATION TERM IN THE
AMOUNT OF $250,000 FOR A REVISED NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $500,000
WHEREAS, the City entered into a Consultant Services Agreement (contract) with RMA
Group on May 17, 2019 with a five-year term, for a total amount not to exceed
$250,000; and
WHEREAS, the maximum compensation amount in the contract is nearly expended;
and
WHEREAS, any remaining unexpended balance is already committed for upcoming
projects in the near -term; and
WHEREAS, a number of Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Projects will be in various
phases of design and construction over the next two years; and
WHEREAS, the efficiencies in having an on -call materials services provider have been
demonstrated in how frequently RMA Group has been called to assist with various
projects; and
WHEREAS, services under this contract will be performed under individual purchase
orders based on individual project needs; and
WHEREAS, each purchase order will be paid for using funds in each individual project
budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby authorize the City Manager to amend the on -call Consultant Services
Agreement with RMA Group for materials testing services by increasing the existing
compensation term in the amount of $250,000 for a revised not to exceed amount of
$500,000.
