A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL COMMENDING SERGEANT DAVID LIVINGSTON
ON HIS 18 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Sergeant Livingston became a Police Officer in January 2004; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Livingston was last assigned to Administration; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Livingston has served as a patrol Watch Commander, Detective Sergeant,
Sniper Team Leader and Crime Scene Team Leader during his tenure as a supervisor; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Livingston has served in many specialty assignments including Field Training
Officer, Crime Scene Investigation Team member, Range Master, Gang Enforcement; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Livingston was assigned to the Santa Clara County Specialized Enforcement
Team as a Narcotics Detective; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Livingston has honorably served as a member of the Special Weapons and
Tactics (SWAT) Team for 14 years; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Livingston has always had a commitment to providing excellent service to the
Campbell community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell recognizes
and commends Sergeant David Livingston on his retirement from the City of Campbell after 18 years
of service.
