A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING THE IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CAMPBELL COMMUNITY CENTER
RUNNING TRACK PROJECT NO. 21PP AND DIRECTING THE FILING OF THE
NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on March 10, 2022, a construction contract was awarded to Beynon
Sports Surfacing of Fresno, California to complete the Improvements for the Campbell.
Community Center Running Track Project No. 21 PP (Project); and
WHEREAS, Beynon Sports Surfacing completed the Project; and
WHEREAS, the Project was completed on April 14, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant funds covered all costs to
the Project in the amount of $347,721; and
WHEREAS, approximately $48,576 of Project funds remain unspent in the
project budget; and
WHEREAS, staff has requested that the $48,576 of remaining Project funds be
returned to the Park Dedication Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
does hereby accept the improvements constructed by Beynon Sports Surfacing for the
Project; and directs the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion and authorizes the
Finance Director to perform the recommended budget adjustments.
