That we, CHURCH OF CHRIST OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA, a California

, as Surety, are held
and firmly bound unto the CITY OF CAMPBELL, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
(hereinafter called "City"), in the sum of SIXTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS
($1,600.00), lawful money of the United states of America, for the
payment of which well and tru~y to be made, we hereby bind ourselves,
our successors and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these
presents.

THE CONDITION of the foregoing obligation is such that,
WHEREAS, the above-named Principal proposes to construct a
church at 1075 West Campbell Avenue, Campbell, California on property
described in Deed No. 2117977, as said deed is filed for record in
the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara, state of California
in Book 5418, Page 505.

WHEREAS, in order for Principal to obtain a building permit from
said City for such construction, Principal is obligated to
construct and/or install, or have constructed and/or installed, certain
street improvements immediately adjacent to the site of said church
in accordance with the standards of said City, said street improvements
being concrete sidewalks and approaches (1,260 square feet), concrete
curb and gutter (278 linear feet), and one (1) standard electrolier,
the total cost of said street improvements having been estimated by
said City to be approximately SIXTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,600.00).
WHEREAS, said City has agreed to construct and/or install said
street improvements for said Principal, at Principal1s cost and
expense, in connection with the Cityls own improvements in the vicinity,
and Principal is agreeable to same.
WHEREAS, the parties have agreed that the actual cost of Cityls
construction and/or installation of said street improvements shall
be mutually agreed to by Principal and City prior to Cityls commencement
of same, such agreement to be based on the bids obtained by City for
such work.
WHEREAS, Principal will, upon completion of the said street
improvements by said City and upon Principal's receipt from City of
a bill for same, reimburse City for the actual cost of such street
improvements, whether more or less than the estimated SIXTEEN HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($1,600.00).

done and performed at the time and in the manner specified therein"
then this obligation shall be null and void; otherwise this bond
shall remain in full force and effecto
PROVIDED" HOWEVER" that in the event said Principal is not
granted the necessary building permit and authorizations required
for the construction of the afore-mentioned church within a period
of one (1) year from the date hereof, this bond shall be null and
void on its faceo
