21.42.090 of the Campbell Municipal Code reads as follows:
Any approval granted under this section shall expire one year after
the date upon which such approval was granted, unless an extension
for such approval is obtained by making written application for same
to the Planning Commission at least fifteen (15) days prior to the
expiration date of such approval.
No building permit shall be issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained in the manner provided
for in this Chapter.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
At a duly constituted meeting of the Board of Directors of JACK-IN-THE-
BOX DEVELOPMENT CORP., a California corporation, held on September 2,
1966, a quorum of said Board was at all times present and acting and the following
resolution was unanimously adopted:
'RESOLVED, that the President, John J. McCloskey, and the Secretary-
Treasurer, Richard T Silberman, be and they are hereby authorized, empowered
and directed in the name of and on behalf of this corporation to execute and deliver
any and all instruments required for the consummation of that certain transaction
covering the following des cribed real property:
Comprising approximately 1. 527 acres having a frontage of
90.8' on Campbell Avenue and a frontage of 142.30' on San
Tomas Aquino, more particularly described in Grant Deed
attached hereto.

orized to deliver a certified copy of this Resolution and to affix the seal of this
