A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO RE -APPROPRIATE $662,109 IN
UNENCUMBERED FUNDS FROM FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2022 TO FY 2023
WHEREAS, the City Council met on August 17, 2022 to receive a staff update and
provide feedback on the Objective Standards Work Plan and Guiding Principles, Project
Schedule, and Community Outreach and Engagement Strategy; and
WHEREAS, the City Council also provided direction on the formation of a
subcommittee of the City Council and/or Planning Commission to support the Objective
Standards Work Plan; and,
WHEREAS, $600,000 was appropriated by City Council for these efforts during the FY
2022 mid -year budget adjustment process, but was not encumbered by the end FY
2022; and,
WHEREAS, $62,109 in unencumbered SB9 funds remain and are also needed for
these efforts; and,
WHEREAS, a Budget Adjustment Form is attached requesting the re -appropriation of
$662,109 in previously appropriated funds from FY 2022 to FY 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves a budget adjustment to re -appropriate $662,000 in unencumbered
funds from FY 2022 to FY 2023.
