BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL
OF PROPOSALS FOR NON-COMPETITIVE FUNDS FROM SANTA CLARA
COUNTY UNDER THE FEDERAL HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990-91
WHEREAS, the City has previously entered into a Joint Powers
Agreement with Santa Clara County to form an Urban County under the
Housing and Community Development Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and Civic Improvement Commission held
public hearings on the expenditures of monies under the Community
Development Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the attached
proposals represent the community development needs in Campbell;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that staff is hereby authorized to
submit proposals for the expenditure of Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG) funds in the amount of $155,000 for the following projects:
Shared Housing Project of Catholic Charities $ 4,662.00
Project Match $ 4,662.00
CSEARR $ 6,800.00
Public Services Subtotal: $ 16,124.00
Hazelwood School Playground Equipment $ 17,000.00
City of Campbell Hsg. Rehab. Administration $ 36,169.00
CDBG Administration $ 15,000.00
Housing Rehabilitation Loans/Grants $ 70,707.00
Total CDBG Funded Projects: $155,000.00
