BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH GREEN VALLEY DISPOSAL
COMPANY FOR CURBSIDE RECYCLING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that recycling solid waste
materials reduces the cost of disposing of solid waste; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interest
of the residents of Campbell to implement curbside recycling services in
the City; and
WHEREAS, curbside recycling program proposals were received from
four contractors; and
WHEREAS, Green Valley Disposal Company's proposal was found to be
the most feasible program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor be authorized to
execute the attached agreement with Green Valley Disposal Company for
curbside recycling services.
