A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF $55,000 FROM THE JOAN EVANS BOHNETT
LIVING TRUST FOR THE CAMPBELL HISTORICAL MUSEUM AND APPROVING A
BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO RECOGNIZE THE DONATION IN FISCAL YEAR 2023
WHEREAS, the Campbell Historical Museum was named as a beneficiary of the
Joan Evans Bohnett Living Trust; and
WHEREAS, Joan Evans Bohnett passed away on February 21, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the Campbell Historical Museum as a named beneficiary of the Trust
is entitled to 10% interest in the residue of the Trust;
WHEREAS, this is the second distribution of funds of the trust; and
WHEREAS, the donation will be used to support operational needs at both
Museum sites.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby accepts the donation of $55,000 for the operational needs of the Campbell
Historical Museum and the Ainsley House and approves a budget adjustment to
recognize the donation in Fiscal Year 2023.
