BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL ESTABLISHING NEW APPLICATION
FEES RELATED TO THE PROCESSING OF HOUSING
DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE
CITY'S FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 SCHEDULE OF FEES
AND CHARGES. PROJECT FILE NO. PLN-2023-62
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that at its Special Meeting of April 18, 2023, the City
Council will adopt an Ordinance establishing new permits and procedures related to the
processing of Housing Development Projects.
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to ensure adequate fees are charged for
processing permit applications and reviewing projects for compliance with applicable
requirements.
WHEREAS, the proposed application fees serve to facilitate the processing of
multi -family and mixed -use housing development projects subject to the provisions of
Chapter 21.07, Housing Development Regulations, Section 21.14.040.13, CB
(Community Benefit) overlay/combining zoning district, Chapter 21.39 (Ministerial
Approvals), and Chapter 21.41.025 (Voluntary pre -application) of the Campbell
Municipal Code, once established.
WHEREAS, city staff estimated the average time to process and review housing
development projects based on the requirements of the related code sections and has
proposed fees commensurate with the average staff time anticipated to be expended to
facilitate the review and processing of such projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby amends the 2022-
2023 Schedule of Fees, to add new application fees related to the processing of
housing development projects under the Planning Fees within the Master Fee
Schedule, as follows with underlining (i.e., underlining) indicating new text and
strikeouts (i.e., sfr leee6its) indicating deleted text and with associated renumbering of
fees between identified changes being addressed in numeric order accordingly:
