BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL AMENDING SECTION 21.64.050
OF THE CAMPBELL MUNICIPAL CODE
The City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows:
SECTIO14 ONE: The City Council finds that this Ordinance is necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety in order
to secure important property rights from unforeseen calamities.
SECTION TWO: Section 21.64.050 is hereby amended by adding the following
new paragraph after the second paragraph of the section:
In accordance with the intent of Section 21.03.010(c) of this
Code, and notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary, a
non -conforming building which equals or exceeds seventy-five
(75) feet in height shall be allowed to be reconstructed or
restored if it becomes damaged or destroyed, in whole or in
part, as the result of fire, flood, wind, earthquake, act of
God or public enemy.
