AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL EXTENDING
THE NON-EXCLUSIVE CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE OF
GILL INDUSTRIES, INC. DBA GILLCABLE, AS GRANTED
TO ITS PREDECESSOR IN INTEREST BY ORDINANCE NO. 567
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Campbell:
SECTION 1. That, subject to the provisions of ordinance no. 567,
the provisions of the Campbell Municipal Code, and the provisions of the
attached modification of agreement, the City of Campbell does hereby
extend the non-exclusive franchise of Gill Industries, Inc., dba Gillcable
to operate and carryon within the City of Campbell the business of
distributing television signals and radio signals by means of a cable
television system, for a period of 90 days.
SECTION 2. This ordiance shall be in force and take effect
thirty-one (31) days from and after the date of its final adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 1986 by the following
roll call vote:

MODIFICATION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN
GILL INDUSTRIES, INC.
AND
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
This modification of agreement entered into this 15th day of
July, 1986 at Campbell, California, by and between Gill Industries and the
City of Campbell.
W I T N E S S E T H
WHEREAS, Gill Industries was heretofore granted a cable
television franchise by the City of Campbell, pursuant to Ordinance no.
567, and
WHEREAS, an agreement embodying the terms of said ordinance and
other requirements was made and executed on the 24th day of April 1967,
and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to modify and change said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises, terms,
and conditions herein contained, it is agreed as follows:
FIRST: That the term of this agreement will be extended for a
period of 90 days, with an expiration date established of January 22,
1987.
SECOND: That all other terms, provisions and conditions set
forth in the agreement executed by the parties on the 24th day of April,
1967, and in subsequent amendments, shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have placed our hand and seal at the place
and on the date hereinabove written.
