CC Ordinance 1815ORDINANCE NO. 1815
BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL ESTABLISHING AN AUTOMOBILE
ALLOWANCE FOR CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
WHEREAS, City Councilmembers are required to use their personal
vehicles for transportation in the course of performing the City's
business; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the normal, actual and
necessary expenses incurred by each Councilmember for fuel and maintenance
arising out of use of their vehicles for City business is One Hundred
Dollars ($100.00) per month;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain
as follows:
Section 1. The City Council finds as follows:
(a) City Councilmembers are required to use their personal vehicles
for transportation in the course of performing City business; and
(b) The normal, actual and necessary expenses incurred by each
Councilmember for fuel and maintenance arising out of use of
their vehicle for City business is One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
per month.
Section 2. Each City Councilmember shall be entitled to receive the
sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month as reimbursement for the
normal, actual and necessary expenses incurred as a result of using their
personal vehicles for City business.
